Michael James Hucknall (Manchester, Inglaterra, em 8 de junho de 1960), conhecido como Mick "Red" Hucknall, é o vocalista e principal membro e compositor da banda Simply Red.
Começou a carreira como DJ. Seu primeiro contato com o meio artístico foi no cenário punk, onde surgiriam bandas como Sex Pistols e Joy Division, com a banda Frantic Elevators. Seu primeiro grande hit foi "Holding Back the Years".
