Imagination - Just an Illusion - 1982

O Imagination foi criado em Londres em 1981, tendo como características o uso de sintetizadores e falsetes, além de indumentárias extravagantes.
O primeiro disco trazia sucessos como "Body Talk", "Flashback", além da lentinha "In And Out Of Love". No ano seguinte, foi a vez de In The Heat Of The Night, disco que manteve a trajetória de sucesso do grupo com as músicas "Just An Illusion" e "Music And Lights".
Em 1983, o Imagination supreendeu ao lançar um disco oficial só com versões remixes. Até então, essas versões eram lançadas exclusivamente em discos "promo" para DJs e rádios. Por ter sido lançado ao público, o disco não foi bem recebido pelos DJs, que sempre procuram tocar versões raras e exclusivas.
Ainda durante os anos 80, o grupo tentou fazer um som mais New Wave. Definitivamente, não era sua especialidade. De uma forma geral, seus discos eram bem produzidos e tinham arranjos interessantes, sempre baseados em sintetizadores.
O Imagination terminou em 1995. Foi um dos bons nomes da Dance Music dos anos 80.
