"It Must Have Been Love" é uma canção gravada pela dupla sueca Roxette, e parte da trilha sonora do filme Pretty Woman (Uma Linda Mulher).
Originalmente, esta música foi gravada em 1987, com o título de "It Must Have Been Love (Christmas For The Broken-Hearted)". Naquele ano, ela foi lançada com um single natalino no seu país de origem, a Suécia. Neste período, o Roxette ainda não era conhecido internacionalmente.
Após a chegada do reconhecimento e sucesso mundial, a partir do ano de 1989, o Roxette recebe um convite do diretor do filme Pretty Woman, para que participasse da sua trilha sonora. Naquele ano, o Roxette estava em turnê pela Europa, e não poderia entrar em estúdio para gravar uma nova canção.
Então, eles ofereçam o single "It Must Have Been Love (Christmas For The Broken-Hearted)" ao diretor, que imediatamente aceitou a proposta. Uma nova mixagem foi feita à canção, realizada por Humberto Gatica, e foi retirada as referências natalinas.
Em 1990, então, "It Must Have Been Love" é lançada como single no mundo inteiro, além de integrar a trilha sonora do filme Pretty Woman, que vende 9 milhões de cópias.
"It Must Have Been Love" alcançou o 1° lugar na Billboard por duas semanas, e é considerado um dos maiores sucessos do Roxette até os dias atuais.
