Simple Minds - Mandela Day
Simple Minds é uma banda de rock da Escócia, que atingiu sua maior popularidade de meados da década de 1980 até o início da década de 1990. Originários da zona sul de Glasgow, a banda produziu um punhado de álbums aclamados pela crítica no início de sua carreira, e posteriormente engajando-se numa obra mais inspirada politicamente, que também conseguiu o sucesso de público.
Entre os sucessos da banda destacou-se o single "Don't You (Forget About Me)", número um em diversos países, que fez parte da trilha sonora do filme de John Hughes, The Breakfast Club.
Entre os membros que fundaram a banda, Jim Kerr (vocais) e Charlie Burchill (guitarra), juntamente com o baterista Mel Gaynor, formam o núcleo da banda, que atualmente conta com Mark Taylor/Andy Gillespie nos teclados e Eddie Duffy no baixo.

Kiss (ou KISS) é uma banda de Hard Rock/Heavy Metal dos Estados Unidos da América, formada em Nova York em 1973. Conhecida mundialmente por suas maquiagens, e por seus concertos muito elaborados e até exagerados que incluem guitarras esfumaçantes, cuspir fogo e sangue, pirotecnias e muito mais. As vendas da banda excedem os 100 milhões no mundo inteiro.
Constitui um dos maiores impactos culturais da década de 1970, valendo-se de roupas, e sobretudo, maquiagens nunca antes vistos, e que marcariam a história da música. Seus dois fundadores são Gene Simmons (Baixo e Vocal) e Paul Stanley (Guitarra Rítmica e Vocal), que ficaram frustrados com o fim de uma banda que formaram, chamada Wicked Lester, assim, decidindo procurar novos integrantes para uma nova banda, encontraram tais integrantes através de anúncio de jornal, Ace Frehley (Guitarra Solo e Vocal) e, pela revista Rolling Stone, Peter Criss (Bateria e Vocal).

Earth, Wind & Fire - Let's Groove - 1981
A Historia do Earth, Wind & Fire começa em Menphis em 1941, onde nasce Maurice White, fundador da banda. Em plena adolescência ele e a família se mudam para Chicago onde Maurice começa a trabalhar como baterista da gravadora Chess Records, em 1967 passa a integrar o Ramsey Lewis Trio por pouco tempo, pois em 1969 ele junta-se a mais dois amigos Wade Flemons e Don Whitehead, e como compositor conseguem assinar contrato com a gravadora Capitol sob o nome de Salty Peppers, porem Maurice achou que o nome da banda não caia tão bem, então resolveu mudar o nome de Salty Peppers para Earth, Wind & Fire, o nome da banda e baseado no signo de Sagitário (signo de Maurice), na astrologia a signo de sagitário tem como elemento de regencia natural o fogo e regências sazonais em terra e vento, ainda em 1969 entram na banda o vocalista Sherry Scott juntamente com o percussionista Phillard Williams e em 1970 irmão mais novo de Maurice, Verdine, entra como baixista, Michael Beale na guitarra, Chester Washington na bateria, Leslie Drayton no trompete e o trombonista Alex Thomas que inicialmente era o arranjador da banda e Flemons nos vibes, piano elétrico e vocais estava montado e pronto para gravar. Já em estúdio em 1970 lançam o primeiro auto-intitulado disco da carreira, em 1971 lançam o álbum The Need Is Love que trazia o single I Think About Lovin’ You. Após o lançamento de The Need Is Love a banda se desmanchou ficando apesar os irmãos White, imediatamente a saída dos músicos Maurice e Verdine começaram a trabalhar numa nova formação, o primeiro membro a entrar na banda foi Jessica Cleaves nos vocais, Ronnie Laws no Saxofone, Roland Bautista na guitarra, Larry Dunn nos teclados, Ralph Johnson na percussão e Philip Bailey nos vocais e percussão. Com uma nova formação e uma nova gravadora e Columbia CBS, lançam o disco Last Days and Time que trazia canções como Where Have All The Flowes, Make It With You e a canção Power onde Maurice introduz pela primeira vez na banda a Kalimba (instrumento musical africano) que é marca registrada do grupo ate hoje. Em 1973 sai o álbum Head To The Sky, o álbum rendeu os dois primeiros sucessos, Evil, co-escrito por Maurice e Philip e a faixa título, Keep On Head To The Sky, ambos ficaram entre as 30 melhores R&B. No ano seguinte o álbum Open Our Eyes que trazia canções como Mighty Mighty que ficou entre as 30 na parada pop americana e devotion que trazia uma mensagem espiritual muito profunda.

Barry White (Galveston, 12 de Setembro de 1944 — Los Angeles, 4 de Julho de 2003) foi um cantor e produtor musical norte-americano. Compositor de inúmeros sucessos em estilo soul e disco e de baladas românticas, e um intérprete com voz profunda e grave.
Se criou no gueto negro da cidade de Los Angeles. Como outros cantores de sucesso, também cantou em coral de igreja na juventude. Foi um adolescente inconseqüente e foi preso com dezessete anos de idade por roubar pneus. Na prisão, decidiu mudar de vida e de amigos.
Obteve grande êxito como intérprete de baladas românticas nos anos 60. Em 1972 criou o trio feminino Love Unlimited. Posteriormente aproveitou este nome para batizar seu grupo de acompanhamento, a Love Unlimited Orchestra.
Foi considerado um dos precursores da disco' music com o lançamento, em 1974, dos sucesos Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe, You´re the first, the last, my everything e a instrumental (da Love Unlimited Orchestra) Love´s Theme. Em 1975, veio What I´m gonna do with you. Em 1976, Let the music play. Em 1979, sua Love Unlimited Orchestra lança o hit I´m so glad that I´m a woman. No início dos anos 80, esteve no Brasil, e, antes da turnê, lançou Rio de Janeiro.
